Drumlins Safer Stays

We commit to apply the following Safer Stays principles to ensure our guests’ confidence in their stays during the Covid-19 pandemic.

  1. CLEANERS WEAR ADEQUATE PPE

Minimum facemask, disposable plastic apron and gloves.

  1. MAIN SURFACES & ITEMS ARE SANITISED

Anti-viral disinfectant will be used to sanitise all surfaces and heavy-use items such as worktops, tables, welcome leaflets, remote controls, switches, sockets, cords, door/window handles, thermostats, plugs & appliances.  Lounge furniture and cushions will be steam cleaned.

  1. NON-ESSENTIAL ITEMS ARE REMOVED

Non-essential items which are difficult to clean will be temporarily removed, such as board games, books, computer consoles, surplus crockery, hair dryers, decorative soft furnishings such as throws.

  1. EXTRA CLEANING TIME ALLOWED

Customer check-out will be by 9am and check-in will be after 5pm to allow extra time for cleaning.

  1. CUSTOMER REASSURANCE GIVEN

Customer notifications will be left in the property to reassure guests of the additional care and attention taken when cleaning the property.

  1. GUEST SAFETY DURING STAY

Liquid soap will be provided in the accommodation for guests to use during their stay.

  1. REPORT AND MANAGE INFECTION CASES

Adhere to government guidelines on reporting and managing potential infection cases. Guests should not travel to Drumlins if anyone in the party has symptoms of Covid-19, has tested positive in the prior 2 weeks or has been advised to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace.

  1. SAFER ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE PROCESSES

Keys to the property will be provided via access to a keysafe which will have been disinfected since use by previous guests.

  1. SHARED FACILITY USAGE

It is unlikely that the owners will need to use the shared entrance to the property.  However, should this be the case they commit to disinfect the lock and handle immediately prior to and after use.  Social distancing principles will be applied.
